The Sunday Sunset Open Thread

by: poligirl

Sun Feb 28, 2010 at 22:02:31 PM EST

Hello to everyone out there surfin' the Progressive Blue tonight. I'm delighted to bring you our Sunday Sunset on this chilly Sunday evening!

Grand Crescent Moon Sunset by Fort Photo(Grand Crescent Moon Sunset by Fort Photo.)

I bid you welcome to the last vestige of frivolity until (gasp) you have to go back to work tomorrow. So we will end our weekend properly with The Sunday Sunset. This open thread is meant to try to keep the weekend alive a little longer with our own late night farewell. I'll also post the weekly sunset photo in the body.

The floor for the Sunday Sunset is open to any stories about your weekend, as well as to any ranting, whining, crying, bitching, moaning, kvetching, and venting any of you would like to do. Laughing is of course definitely allowed and even encouraged, even if it's just desperate hysteria that's causing it.

There are only 2 rules in this particular open thread:

1. Be Good To One Another

2. Vote in the Poll

Notes on the poll: It's really single choice, but you can pick more than one...  ;>

And hey - Progressive Blue is on Twitter now! Come follow us!

The Sunday Sunset is below!

Hey poligirl (3.00 / 1)
The Rainmaker is my pic for best John Grisham based movie. It shows ho insurance companies operate and what's behind their tort reform propaganda. Well acted too.

Anyway, this is a hilarious song from the Office. Erin is such a great new addition(my new the Office crush) an Kelly is funny as always.

hey priceman! i liked the Rainmaker, but the Client is my fav... (3.00 / 1)
and i think A Time to Kill may be second for me...

Ahh, well those are good as well (3.00 / 1)
But I have to stand by my pick.

Yep. It's one of those shows I don't miss and it keeps getting better IMO. No worries. I always catch it online or on demand, because I watch Keith and Rachel overnight(I can't maintain a regular Tv watching schedule so that's how I do it with everything and it's easier with hulu.

that's cool... i usually catch KO & Rachel at the regular time... (3.00 / 1)
and most of my shows too... but my shows on USA i usually catch the midnite showing... (Burn Notice, White Collar, etc...)

One of the strangest stances I have ever seen (0.00 / 0)

Pat Robertson says God is punishing Chile for their rejection of Pinochet. Very twisted man.

Abstinence programs breed hypocrites.
